A sincere thank you to all you voted in this election and for your support and confidence.  

Congratulations to my new fellow counci members: Mayor Rob Kirkham, and councillors Doug Race, Ron Sanders, Bryan Raiser, Ted Prior and Susan Chapelle.

I am committed to:

• Finding solutions to complex challenges;
• Working openly and collaboratively with community organizations, citizens, staff, regional governments, nearby communities and all members of council;
• Making Squamish a leader in sustainable community development;
• Ensuring a vital empowered economy while preserving our valuable environment;
• Bringing inspiration to the table whenever possible;
• And ensuring the best possible value for your tax dollars.

Over the past 6 years I have been consistently fair, prepared, engaged in a multitude of community events and activities, and accessible to the community. I act on people's concerns and ideas and I am always pushing DOS and the community to be better.

I do not pretend to have all the answers, nor should I or anyone else running for a position on council. My openess to new ideas, willingness to collaborate, and my experience, leadership and appreciation of the history and evolution of Squamish are valuable assets to any new council and our emergent community.

Thank you for entrusting me with this important role for the past 6 years. I look for your support November 19 so that I may continue to lead and serve.
